The story behind the find
Proper plant nutrition results in maximum plant health and growth. Fertilizing your trees and shrubs regularly keeps your plants healthy, strong, beautifully colored, and more disease resistant. This time-release fertilizer in pellet form will work wonders for your plants and give them the quick boost they need to provide long-term nutrition and plant growth.
Nutricote Total 360 Professional Controlled Release Fertilizer 18-6-8 contains NPK (slow-release Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potassium, magnesium, and micronutrients in a controlled release prill. You only need to apply this product once every 12 months, which is great as it minimizes your work and provides your plant with 1 year worth of ideal plant nutrients.
The amount of fertilizer application depends on the size of your plant but it is usually measured by gallon size. Each plant requirement is different though so do your research! This polymer-coated fertilizer will release the nutrients slowly over a 1 year period of time. Keeping the soil moist will help the quick release of ingredients to the cooling soil. The thickness of the coating dissolves over time.
The nutrient release rates will vary depending on soil moisture and soil temperatures.
